privacy policy

Workstream (“we,” “us”) makes made-to-order apparel and sells it through this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and how, and the steps we take to keep it secure. By using this site or placing a pre-order, you agree to the practices described here.
information we collect
- Contact details — the email address you enter to join the waitlist or place a pre-order.
- Order details — the product, size, and colorway you select, and the status of your pre-order.
- Payment information — when you pre-order, your card is collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe, on a secure checkout page. We never receive or store your full card number; we only see limited details such as the card brand and last four digits.
- Technical data — standard server and request logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) generated automatically by our hosting provider to operate and secure the site.
how we use it
- To process, confirm, and fulfill your pre-order.
- To charge your saved card only if and when the drop is produced, as described at checkout (a pre-order saves your card and is not charged until the order is committed to production).
- To send you transactional and product updates about the drop you signed up for, and occasional brand updates you can opt out of at any time.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the website, and to comply with our legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do use advertising and analytics tools (see below) to measure our marketing and to show relevant ads to people who have visited the site.
who we share it with, and how
We share personal information only with the service providers we rely on to run the business, and only as needed for them to perform their function. Information is transmitted to them electronically over encrypted connections through their APIs and services:
- Stripe — payment processing and card storage for pre-orders.
- Buttondown — managing our email list and sending waitlist and drop updates.
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising measurement and retargeting via the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies to record visits and actions (such as joining the waitlist or starting a pre-order) so we can gauge which ads work and reach similar audiences. Where enabled, the pixel also sends a hashed (non-reversible) version of contact details you submit, such as your email address, used only to match you to a Meta account for ad measurement.
You can limit this tracking through your browser’s cookie settings and your Meta ad preferences.
Each provider processes your information under its own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
how we protect it
All traffic to this site is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider, and never passes through or is stored on our own servers. We limit access to the personal information we do hold to what is necessary to operate the business. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.
your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.
changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
